This spring, Matakana Village comes alive with Coffee & Cars – Cherry Blossom Edition. Picture cherry trees in full bloom, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and a handpicked line-up of classic and unique vehicles – from vintage icons to modern supercars.
Petrolheads will be in their element with cars spanning the 1930s through to today. But this isn’t just for motoring enthusiasts – Matakana Village is the perfect setting for a full morning out.

Not a car buff? No problem. There’s plenty more to enjoy – browse our boutique stores, tuck into brunch, treat yourself to something sweet, or keep the kids entertained with the Matakana Cinemas, playground, and our famous friendly eels.

🚗 Want to display your car? All are welcome to park and show off their pride and joy in the Matakana School carpark, right across the road. To be featured in the main Village carpark, displays are by invitation only – email us and we’ll connect you with the organiser.
🅿️ Visitor parking: Please use the Matakana Community carpark on Matakana Valley Road – only a short stroll to the Village.
❤️ Entry is free, but a gold coin koha for Coastguard Kawau is encouraged. Their team will be on site raising funds to support their vital marine rescue work, covering over 6,500 square miles of coastline.
Come for the cars, stay for the blossoms. 🌸
